A native of Moro, Allison is a 23-year-old Cum Laude graduate of the University of Arkansas with degrees in both Journalism and English.  She recently completed her second year at the University of Arkansas School of Law and was named the Best Oral Advocate of the Class of 2010.  She won the school's Moot Court competition and was a semifinalist in the Trial Competition.  She is Vice Chair of the Board of Advocates, a member of the Community Life Committee, and Secretary of the Federalist Law Society.


She is an alumna of Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority and served as the Philanthropy Chair.  Allison also served as the Vice President of Service for Gamma Beta Phi Honor Society.  She stayed active in Big Brothers Big Sisters, Study Abroad Students Association, Order of Omega Honor Society, and the Emerging Leaders Institute.
Allison is a graduate of Lee Academy where she was Valedictorian with a 4.24 gpa, editor of the school newspaper, and co-captain of the cheerleading squad. 

Allison has been the station manager of UATV in Fayetteville where she also worked as a news anchor and producer.  She was the co-host of the talk show The View From the Hill and has worked as a co-host of the political debate show Campus Crossfire.  Additionally, Allison tutors children with Lifesource and is a local event coordinator with Reading is Fundamental.  Her most recent project involves coordinating volunteer teams for Race for the Cure and Arkansas Children's Hospital.

A National Merit Scholar, Allison was on the Dean's List at the U of A where she is a Chancellor's Scholar as well as a Governor's Distinguished Scholar.  She also frequently performs the national anthem at Razorback sporting events.  Allison starred in the ABC Family Channel reality show, "Switched!," where she lived in Seattle for a week.  One of Allison's favorite contributions is that she spent a summer teaching Bible School in Ukraine.

   
 
Allison is the reigning Miss Lakes of the Northwest and will compete in Miss Arkansas this July.  Allison was previously third runner-up to Miss Arkansas, where she has also won a Preliminary Talent Award, Newcomer Award, First-Timer Talent Award, and the Broadcast Journalism Award.

Allison's is a former Arkansas Junior Miss and won the Evening Gown Award at America's Junior Miss as well as the Overall Community Service Award.  She was also named to the Top Ten at Miss Teen Arkansas where she won the Overall Interview Award.
